Terms of Participation

Participation in the Creative Problem Solving Playtest programme is entirely voluntary.

Please read these Terms of Participation carefully before taking part.

By registering for and participating in the test programme, you acknowledge and accept the conditions described in this document.

Eligibility

The programme is intended for children between 6 and 13 years of age:

• Whose participation has been approved by a parent or legal guardian.
• Who complete the challenges using their own ideas.
• Who can safely participate in a home environment.

The Role of the Parent or Legal Guardian

The parent or legal guardian is responsible for:

• Preparing the required materials.
• Reading the challenges aloud.
• Observing the child's approach.
• Completing the Test Report Form.
• Taking photographs of the completed creations where possible.

Please avoid suggesting specific solutions during the playtest. Instead, allow the child to work through the challenges using their own ideas.

If the child begins using pretend play, invents a story, or uses their imagination while solving a challenge, allow these ideas to develop naturally whenever possible. They are also a natural part of the creative problem-solving process.

Voluntary Participation

Participation in the programme is entirely voluntary.

You may stop or withdraw from the test at any time without providing a reason.

Privacy

The processing of personal data is governed by the Privacy Notice.

Use of Submitted Materials

Test Report Forms, observations and photographs submitted during the validation are used solely for:

• Evaluating the test programme.
• Analyzing the overall research results.
• Supporting the ongoing development of the project.

Personal data is processed in accordance with the Privacy Notice.

Appreciation for Participants

Every participating family makes a valuable contribution to the development of this project.

As the project progresses, participants may receive various forms of appreciation, depending on future opportunities.

These may include, for example:

• Participant discounts.
• Priority access to future public releases.
• Other project-related benefits.

Further information about any future participant benefits will be provided as the project develops.

Responsibility

The test activities use simple, everyday materials.

Children should complete the activities under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

The project cannot accept responsibility for damage or injury resulting from the inappropriate or unsafe use of the materials provided or recommended.
